In addition to the Form Size and Screen Position, you also have the option to change the font of any Edit boxes on Basic Forms.
Click on System, File and Select Font to display the Font Selection Dialog. This dialog allows you to choose the Font, Style, Size, Effect and Color of your font.
Note: The default font is Courier, Regular, 10 and Black.
There are a number of reasons you might want to change the font, including:
Visually pleasing; You might prefer an Arial, Regular 10 if you prefer the look of Arial on the screen.
Improved read-ability; You might prefer a Courier, Bold 12 for a larger font to make it easier to read. Be aware that there is a limit to how large you can make the font before the form components are no longer able to display it.
Tip: Changing the fonts only affects the edit components of a form. It does not affect text labels, button captions, etc.
Tip: If you can’t seem to make the fonts large enough without creating display problems, try changing the Font Size under windows to Large or Extra Large fonts. This has the additional benefit of making the forms larger to contain larger components.
Improved mouse control; You might prefer a Courier, Regular 11 which is a fixed-width font to make it easier for you to click between letters in a text box.
