Tracked Item

Examples of Tracked Items would be Oxygen Concentrators, Hospital Beds and other expensive items. While you will have one Item ID for each of these Items, you will have many tracked Items representing the several different Serial Numbers, or Tracking Numbers you have of each Item.

Service Schedule Printing the service schedule report and forms will only work if the Tracking Numbers module is kept up to date. This feature can be very useful and can save a tremendous amount of time, but the initial setup and upkeep must be done. There are two fields in the Tracking Number Maintenance Card to fill out – the Last Service field and the Next Service field.

A few things to remember:

  1. You must keep these fields up to date in order for this to work properly.
  2. Schedule your service dates according to patient location. If Patient A lives on the East side of the city and Patient B lives on the West side of the city, go see all the patients on the East side of the city one day and all the patients on the West side of the city the next day.
  3. Once you return from seeing the patients, enter your next and last service dates.
Service Tickets The service ticket is a checklist of procedures for tracked inventory items to be serviced.
Tracked Item Labels Tracked item labels can be printed and put on your tracked equipment.
Location By Item Report shows a listing of tracked items, grouped by inventory items.
Location By Customer Report shows a listing of tracked items, grouped by the customer.
