How to setup a Payor to Check Patient Eligibility

Checking Patient Eligibility can save a tremendous amount of time and money as opposed to setup, service, billing, tracking and write-off of patient who should not have received product or service in the first place. The following describes how to setup a Payor whether Medicare, Medicaid or Commercial entity.

Patient Eligibility

Submitter ID Enter the Patient Eligibility Submitter ID to use when sending a check. If you have your own account setup with the payor, enter your number. Otherwise enter “TEAMDME” to send using the default number with the TeamDME! Gateway.
Receiver ID Enter the ID of the Payor to whom you are sending the Patient Eligibility check. Use the following list to search for the Receiver ID if other than Medicare.
URL If you manually check the Patient Eligibility, you can enter the URL.
