How to create and use a Task

Tasks give you the ability to note a Task you’d like to do later. For example, Let’s say Claim Number 7736 has not been paid by Adminastar for 90 days. So, you contact the Claims department and speak with Jane Doe. She says the Claim has been marked to be paid and you should receive a check within 10 days.

So, assuming you are looking at the Claim, click Ctrl-Print, Send To, Task List to create the Task. Note the Location indicates where you created the Task. In the description, enter what you did and why we are creating the Task.

The Task will appear as a ToDo item in your Task List, and appear Red when it is due. When this happens highlight the record and click Ctrl-Task to jump back to the Claim. Click Alt-History to check whether the payment has been received as promised.
